Member We LOVE Spotlight - Kayleigh Kennedy!!

Recently we had an opportunity to find out more about this HHW Guelph, ON Member We Love!

We think you'll want to get to know Kayleigh and her business as well!

Q: How would you describe your business and what you do in a few sentences?

Arbonne is a 38-year-old health and wellness company that has a wide range of consumable products for the whole family. What I do with Arbonne is educate others on the importance of using pure, safe and beneficial products, show people how they can redirect their spending and shop from their own store at a wholesale discount, and then train people to show others how to do the same so that they start earning a recurring income. This can be done by a one-on-one meeting, a group presentation or even online!

Q: What ignited the spark in you to start your business venture?

At the time Arbonne was presented to me, I was looking for something more. I was looking for something that I could work in the nooks and crannies of my already busy life and be able to earn additional income to help my family. What I didn’t know is everything else that came with this opportunity: the amazing culture of inspiring men and women, the difference that the products would have on my skin, the results I would experience from the nutrition line, and the personal development that I would receive. This company really has changed my life!

Q: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

The top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur are: You need to be coachable, passionate and be disciplined.

You need to be open to being coached by successful people in your organization and you need to learn the process they have already put in place works. In order to be passionate about the business, you have to be passionate about the products you are selling! And you need to be disciplined. We are all busy, but to truly experience success you need to be able to set yourself up for success and work the process. You need to learn to set your own business hours and stick to them! This can be tricky because after a long day, the last thing you may want to do is work on your business, but in order to be successful you need to put in even just a few minutes each and every day!

Q: What has been your biggest failure? How did you overcome it?

My biggest failure was letting my fear get the best of me in the beginning of my journey. I was afraid of what people would think of me, I was afraid of people telling me ‘no,’ and I was scared to get out of my comfort zone and focus on really growing my business. It took me over a year to realize that these fears are so common for Network Marketing professionals and that I needed to take a leap of faith and kick my fears to the curb! Listening to multiple leaders share these same fears helped me overcome this. If they could get over themselves and transform their lives, then why couldn’t I?!

Q: How have you changed since becoming an entrepreneur?

My biggest personal accomplishment thus far in my journey as an entrepreneur is how I am constantly working on personal development and my own health and wellness. Arbonne really is a personal development company disguised as a personal care brand! Leaders within my organization are always encouraging me to read more, focus on myself more, and to always learn and grow as a leader. I have also truly adapted my lifestyle to be more health conscious from the inside out. I am more aware of not only what I am putting in my body, but have developed an awareness for the importance of the products I put on my skin and how to read personal care product labels. Ultimately, I am happier and I have learned to dream again. I have seen that anything is possible!

Thank you Kayleigh for sharing more about yourself & your business.
